Day 36: Mark Sisson’s 10 Laws

I’ve been pretty busy lately, so I’m just gonna post a link to an article.

I like Mark Sisson’s attitude. He’s one of the leaders in the Paleo field, but he’s not a dogmatic. He’s OK with people occasionally eating junk food, if they’re looking after themselves the rest of the time.

This article on the 10 laws of primal living is a great framework for understanding diet and lifestyle.  Some may seem to be truisms but his blog post goes into more detail.

  1. Eat lots of animals, insects and plants
  2. Move around a lot at a slow pace
  3. Lift heavy things
  4. Run really fast every once in a while
  5. Get lots of sleep
  6. Play
  7. Get some sunlight everyday
  8. Avoid trauma
  9. Avoid poisonous things
  10. Use your mind
